ENTRNCE has been shortlisted at this year’s Energy Awards for its Matcher: a ground-breaking data platform which steers companies towards a secure, carbon free energy supply.
The Energy Awards is one of the sector’s most prestigious events and recognises innovation and business excellence in the industry.

The Matcher is shortlisted in the Digital Innovation of the Year category and was developed by ENTRNCE in response to the multiple challenges facing energy intensive companies. Record energy prices, rising REGO costs, concerns over security of supply and net zero targets are driving businesses to overhaul their energy strategy.
However, ENTRNCE recognised that companies struggle to get the robust data they need to make the right decisions on potential clean energy investments. So, it conceived the Matcher: a powerful data platform which gives companies a granular, real-time picture of how well their consumption is covered by renewable generation, at half-hourly intervals.
Crucially, the Matcher has a powerful modelling functionality which allows businesses to simulate how different renewable solutions could meet their needs.
