How we work together
Working together on solutions for energy transition
Only by joining forces can we achieve a carbon-free energy system.
Why collaborate
Every day we strive for the best results, with the conviction that we cannot do this alone. Our innovation is strengthened by the diverse contributions of partners in various collaborations. By combining the knowledge and expertise of different parties, together we create the best solutions that help accelerate the energy transition.
Do you see opportunities for collaboration? Then we would like to invite you to contact us to discuss the possibilities.
With whom we do this
Network Companies
By building strong relationships with network companies, we can share knowledge, align our vision for local markets and cooperate in this domain. In this way, we develop future market services and standards.
Consortia
Participate in consortia for research projects to work with partners toward a future-proof energy system.
Ecosystem partners
Forecasting, back-office, billing (as in whitepaper tools) Our plug-in play platform allows you as an ecosystem partner to link with the ENTRNCE platform to offer your services.
Educational institutions
Together with universities, we conduct research on current issues around local energy systems, energy hubs and peer-to-peer trading.

Local energy at cost price+
The Local4Local project is an initiative of Dutch energy cooperatives to achieve an integrated, sustainable, collective energy supply in which the end user pays no more than cost+ for energy, with minimized impact on the local energy infrastructure. An important role in this is played by the cooperative suppliers OM Nieuwe Energie, Energie VanOns and AGEM to enable these peer-to-peer exchanges of energy at cost+ price for the cooperatives and their members.
ENTRNCE is part of the Local4Local consortium and, as a facilitator of the cost price+ model, contributes directly to this important social development. Through the ENTRNCE platform, energy communities can trade their residual volumes of cooperatively generated electricity at cost with other energy communities.
Key points:
- Sustainable, local energy supply
- Cost+ model for energy exchange
- Flexible peer-to-peer exchange

A smart solution to grid congestion
Within the Mooi EIGEN project, ENTRNCE, together with Firan and Shared Energy Platform (SEP), is developing the Energy Hub Platform. This platform enables energy hubs at business parks to monitor and control their assets to meet the terms of a Group Transmission Agreement or a collective Capacity Limiting Contract. The platform can also receive bids from assets for capacity reduction and distribute any (GOPACS) fees to assets. In doing so, ENTRNCE and the project partners are providing a platform that can directly address current congestion issues.
Key points:
- Creating and ensuring a program plan
- Receiving and acting on GOPACS signals.
- Managing assets

Contributing to the global rollout of peer-to-peer trading
The Global Observatory on Peer-to-Peer, Collective Self-Consumption and Transactive Energy ('GO-P2P') consortium is a global network of companies, universities, and other research institutions active in the world of P2P. The goal of this consortium is to share data, experiences with P2P, and suggestions with each other by holding meetings several times a year. ENTRNCE thus seeks to contribute to the global rollout of P2P and learn lessons from others who have encountered barriers that we still expect in the Netherlands.
Key points:
- Data sharing
- Spreading the lessons of P2P
- Learning from other P2P projects
